UWRF SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE FALL 2024-SPRING 2025 SCHOOL YEAR

• The UWRF General Scholarship Application is still open for scholarships that have an extended deadline and are available to incoming and continuing students for the fall 2024 – spring 2025 academic year. Selections are made during the spring semester and the majority of finalists are notified through their @my.uwrf.edu account during the spring semester following the scholarship deadline. • The Chancellor’s Scholarship and Falcon Scholars Scholarship have an earlier deadline than many of the other scholarships. Please read the description for dates and details.
• Please note Study Abroad, and Graduate Counseling Scholarships have different application and award cycles. These scholarships may be applied to and paid out during the same school year. You can search for them by keyword for deadlines and details on each of the scholarships.
  
  TO APPLY TO UWRF SCHOLARSHIPS:
  1. You will need to complete the General Application every year. Once submitted, you will be automatically matched for many of the scholarships available at UWRF based on your application information.
  2. The application system will also identify scholarships for which you may be qualified but require some additional information beyond what you have shared in the General Application. Click on Opportunities > Recommended to review these scholarships, determine if you are a match and then click on “Apply”.
  
  TIPS FOR SUCCESS:

• Review your responses for spelling and grammatical errors before submitting.
• Only apply to scholarships to which you meet ALL of the stated requirements. Selection committees will not review scholarship applications from those only meeting partial criteria.
• Don’t wait until the last minute to apply!
  
  ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• The deadline to apply for most scholarships is February 1 every year, with the award given out the following school year. Exceptions include Graduate Counseling Scholarships and International Education (aka Study Abroad) scholarships. Please review the scholarship details for Graduate Counseling and consult the Office of International Education to learn more about deadline dates for Study Abroad.
• Students graduating during the 2023-2024 academic year are not eligible for scholarships paid out during the 2024-2025 academic year.
• The Award column is an estimated award amount and not a guarantee of what you will receive if selected.
