Mary Weiss Cashman International Education Fund

This scholarship supports an undergraduate junior or senior student in the Consortium of Overseas Student Teaching (COST) Program or a graduate student accepted to the International Visiting Teacher Program.

Students must demonstrate a global awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences through their application essay including the following details:

  1. Describe experiences that you have had that demonstrate your capacity to be flexible and adaptable to unfamiliar surroundings and situation
  2. Explain why you are seeking an international experience and what was the sources of your inspiration
  3. Explain what you expect to gain from your international experience
  4. Describe the kind of contribution you will be able to make as a result of your international experience

Undergraduates must be accepted in Overseas Student Teaching
