Therese Lachecki Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship supports a graduate student pursuing an M.S.E. degree in School Counseling.
Student must have completed 1 semester of course-work as a student enrolled in the Counseling Program.
Must provide a brief personal essay which describes those opportunities the candidate has engaged in to broaden their educational experience and the impact that service to others has, such as:
- Ideas surrounding the impact of service in your or others?â?ó?ó?ÇÜ?¼?ó?Ç??ó lives and how that might impact your work as a future school counselor.
- Affiliation with a School Counseling Professional Organization like WSCA or MSCA
- Participation in a recognized student organization at UW- River Falls like the UWRF School Counseling Student Organization
- Other profession related non-academic experiences like group work at school, depression screening, graduate assistant-ships, etc.
