Dora Marie and Barbara Rohl Scholarship

This scholarship supports a student who has been admitted to the Teacher Education Program and has a minimum GPA of 3.0.

  • Student must be an entering junior (60 credit hours completed) or senior
  • In odd years, the scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in Broad Area Social Studies-History. In even years, the scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing the MC-EA, Middle Childhood through Early Adolescent teaching level (elementary education). Preference for a student who plans to teach 4th, 5th or 6th grade.
  • Must provide evidence of having worked on behalf of one or more of the following: the elderly, the mentally or physically challenged, the homeless, the chemically dependent, or in church activities, mentoring programs, kinship program, Y programs, or environmental activities.
    Students who are pursing the early childhood major or minor do not qualify for this scholarship.
