  • Students must be admitted to UWRF and enrolled at least half-time to receive a scholarship during the semester it is scheduled to disburse. Currently enrolled UWRF students planning to graduate during the 2025-2026 academic year are not eligible to receive scholarships paid out during the 2026-2027 academic year.
  • Scholarship recipients are invited to and expected to attend an annual Scholarship Recognition Event hosted by University Advancement during fall semester in the year the scholarship is received. This serves as a meaningful opportunity to meet and thank the donor/s who fund scholarships to benefit UWRF students.
  • Review Scholarship Requirements. Apply only if you are eligible.
  • Complete the Application in Full. If a question does not apply, indicate as such.
  • Review your Application. Along with proofing your own application, have someone else proofread for spelling and grammatical errors and provide feedback before you submit your application.
  • Pay Attention to Deadlines. Don’t wait until the last minute to apply. Give yourself time to provide thoughtful and meaningful responses.
